Don’t count on Hasbro or the show’s writers. The writers of the show have pretty much ignored Sunset’s existence. The best case scenario is that it happens in the movies and even that is pretty much unlikely.

Well as long as it happens in Equestria, sure. I just don’t want the reunion to happen in human form, cause that won’t look quite as cute.
It’s not the same. My fanfic version doesn’t even take place in Equestria.

Sounds like a fanfic that could either turn out really interesting or really mediocre. It would never happen in the show though.
Me to the more episodes we get of her the better.
Sunset-Shimmer = the new Celestia.
Twilight-Sparkle = the new Luna.
Starlight-Glimmer = the new Twilight-Sparkle.
Celestia & Luna becomes one with the Sun & the Moon.
