i’m with you for the most part, except i don’t get why you needed to call out specifically the homo ships, as if they aren’t just as defensive and excitable about any hetero ships they get into  
from the cheesepie shippers who believe it to be destiny, still praying for cheese’s return to validate them  
to the hoards upon hoards of sparity shippers who take any little thing as absolute confirmation that sparity is definitely going to happen and has zero chance of just being a kid’s crush on an older person that goes nowhere, or even just isn’t explored at all  
it’s far from just the homo, man
