Fr I wanna tongue kiss him tbh 😩
Thank you so much for posting this.
Just goes to show that you can do anything you put your mind to so long as you’ve got high explosives.
That he did. And he didn’t let it stop him from being a meaningful contribution to society. He’s an inspiration to all of us.
’Course it helped that he had a working turret in his chest.
Warpath from g1 Transformers had Turrets Syndrome. (He couldn’t talk without making shooty noises.)
Hence why people referred to it as a startrek game. However, the “legion” quote is common and has been used everywhere for such beings.
heck, it was used in a gamera movie.
Advent of legion
The specific scene is when the soldiers see the hundreds of small human sized bugs attacking Gamera.
Soldier “And he asked “What is your name?” and he replied “I am Legion, for we are many.”
General “The Bible?”
The soldier then says the chapter and verse as the General keeps watching the fight.
General “Legion…”
Reminds me of mass effect when they name the geth they save Legion.
Guess they used more stuff from startrek than I thought.
Tourette syndrome, actually. If he’d had turret syndrome he’d be hiding in corners or on high spots and making shooty noises at others.
“Hugh” was actually chosen because it sounded like “you.”
Here’s the conversation in question:
Indeed. It’s rather refreshing. I mean, yes, everyone should be vulnerable to some pratfalls, but at least make them shine with their skills.
It’s hard to write for Spike, but some of these new writers are putting in the work and doing it well. I’m impressed.
Gauntlet of Fire
Wait, what was the first one?
Also, is anybody but me more surprised that we now have TWO ACTUAL GOOD SPIKE EPISODES than they are about a friendly changeling?

Most beings, when they are first born, are hungry, so all the grubs “lashing out” is really just them showing their hunger.
But still, they’re apparently mostly cruel from birth. They really should have evolved to be more naturally likeable by now.
He was also starving, he said this. We can see him not reacting that way during the flashback, when he looked lonely and sad. I imagine it’s kind of like throwing a steak to a starving dog. As he’s being shown kindness, it’s bringing out the feralness in him. We see just the mere mention of friendship gets him in that state. Then as he gets used to Spike, he’s able to hang around all the cystal ponies with no problem. It wasn’t until he was overloaded from Flurry Heart did he lose control again.

>lashes out when treated nice
Changelings make a lot of sense.
