I’m definitely getting that giant spike toy and a shining armour to ride him (not like that you pervs).
There’s just something about a spear wielding horse riding a godzilla expy that I find hard to pass up.
Just imagine, A decade or two from now when FIM has faded from pop culture memory, people will see that toy and Immediately wonder what we were smoking back in the new 10’s.
I’ve been waiting for a Funko Soarin’ since forever for this reason, but this is the next best thing I guess. Too bad he’s bundled with a few ponies that makes the toys more pricey.
I saw all three (discord, luna and celestia)! I was so tempted to buy them, but the wallet told me no.
I’m a bigger fan of non-articulated figures because I like to display them so having movable joints loses the appeal for me, specifically. So the Discord, Celestia and Luna figures are right up my alley! HOWEVER, they have released art of some articulated figures, like Cheese Sandwich, Pinkie, Twilight, Shining, Spike, etc. So we get the best of both worlds in this toy set. C:
They have a little articulation on the wings of the figures but not much.
I actually saw a Princess Celestia Guardians of Harmony toy at Barnes & Noble the other day…
Are those figures articulated? Without articulation they lose some appeal for me.
Sure, they’d still look boss on a shelf but, ah, I dunno.

They haven’t been very clear- IDW said that they can’t even talk about the comics until next year, but trademarks indicate something animated. And even then we had investor calls talking about putting movie stuff in the line- so what it actually is seems to be up for debate. The toys come out in September though, the first wave at least.
Could it possibly relate to the upcoming movie? That’s what I was thinking, but I’m very likely wrong. The Celestia, Luna and Discord figures are boss though-
Is it just a toyline? Comics or an episode perhaps? I was originally hoping it was a spinoff but that seems unlikely.
