Ah, but the ponies don’t know that. All they see are mechanisms and advanced technology, and they have to draw their conclusion from those observations. Characters don’t know everything the author does, especially when dealing with something from outside their very universe.

Good fic, like most of your stuff. I do have one problem with it though, although I’ll admit I’m being nitpicky. You have Megatron being referred to as a “robot, not a golem.” However if you define a golem as an inanimate object granted life via magic, Cybertonians fit the definition, given that their Sparks are fragments of the soul of a god/eldritch abomination.
Well, I did just publish a story today based on that one Transformers comic…

I suspect Twilight discourages Spike from playing collectible card games. She doesn’t want a repeat of Spikezilla should his “collecting” urges get out of hand again.
