You’re onto something. :D
Well, going on how the original story went, I don’t think she will get to grow up, sadly.
Maybe directly. But there’s plenty of things to burn. Pallets, wagons, the town that left a filly to freeze on Christmas Eve…
I can control when the flamethrower fires, not the size of the flame. Using it to keep her warm would have a, well… unfortunate outcome.
Well, if you’ve got one of those, you could just use it to help her stay warm.
Indeed. lights flamethrower
cause even perverts have limits
NO THAT DOES NOT MAKE ME FEEL BETTER. I have a few people to burn now.
not sure if the fact that nopony wanted her and she still froze to death, is supposed to make me feel better or worse…

OH NO.

I’m with you on both accounts.
I’m surprised you never saw it, seems like something you would’ve already been all over.
lol now I have to read the whole thing. I can’t believe I never saw that one before.

Hah, no. Never read Discworld.
People do write rescue fics though. One user named C Money is well known for it :p
you do know they parodied a really famous scene from a disc world book where death uses a loop hole to save the little matchstick girl right? they just switched out the characters for ponies,
People write these little stories a lot to help themselves feel better about something sad they see in fiction, with varying degrees of cringe.
But this time it’s poverty, and poverty is real.
Instead of getting all upset about some fictional character starving, what about all the real people starving? Ever consider volunteering some time at a soup kitchen, or with Habitat for Humanity, or giving to charities or orphanages?
