This might actually become part of the comic. When Edward returned to Europe after the fight with the Shadowbolts was resolved, Chris mentioned that he was “interested in meeting the beautiful reincarnation of the white unicorn”, because he was “curious to see the potential of her imposing beast”. The reincarnation of the white unicorn is obviously Rarity, and her potential beast is Nightmare Rarity. Also, when Chris said these words, he was holding the heart-shaped ruby that the Architect of Equestria instructed Spike not to use. This is the same gem that Spike was in possession of in the official IDW comic of Nightmare Rarity. Therefore, Nightmare Rarity is very likely to appear in the comic.

Even a dark princess needs her Dark Dragon. Are any future enemies even want to mess with Rarity when she’s like this, not even mentioning the huge Beserker Dragon by her side as her bodyguard??
 
Wonder if this would be something that could put a sizable debt in the Lord of Chaos once he comes to full strength.
