Dr.Bourbon: We try to give the mares a balance of high quality oats, fresh fruits and vegetables, along with some cooked bird eggs for protein. The mares usually have their food in a canteen area, where they are able to socialize with one another. Food is delivered to the mare’s room if they’re nearing their due date.
For hormone-enhancing drugs, we do use some to induce them into releasing eggs earlier.
As for exercises, we plan to purchase some treadmills when we get more funds…
I would think the food would be very closely monitored. In science you try to eliminate any variables so they would keep things like exercise, diet, stress and everything as consistent as possible.

The story on the blog is getting dug into. I myself uncovered something dark when I asked why they were trying to breed an alicorn. But it was quickly covered up, which suggests it being dark.
