If his special talent is business, and her special talent is… well, finagling from other ponies (like getting him to marry her in the first place), he might end up with less than half.
Sadly, you have a point. That possibility also makes you feel real bad for Tiara too, as she seems to much prefer her Dad (looking back at “Family Appreciation Day” she flat-out adored him) over her overbearing snobby mother.

It would’ve been nice to at least see him happy to see his daughter stand up for herself, her new friends, and telling her mother off.
Was thinkin’ exactly the same. We already know DT’s talent is knowing exactly how to get ponies to do what she wants - of course she knew bringing Filthy into it would stick her mom in between a rock and a hard place, no way out except to deliver the letter.
That kinda makes sense somehow.

This is true.
He did fund all the play ground equipment. Money is powerful force after all.
I feel worse for him now than I did when I thought he might be raising Diamond Tiara by himself. :’D
After Lost Mark he now has to deal with wife and his daughter trying to tell each other what to do.
Being Filthy Rich is suffering.
