Why don’t anime dubs just use what would normally be used in subs for their scripts?

Subs are direct translations.
 
Dubs are reinterpretation of dialogue to fit Western audiences.

And a lot of times a direct translation wouldn’t fit the character’s mouth movements.

I always found it funny how mouth movement is important when dubbing an anime, but when Japan does the same with Western cartoons, they couldn’t give two shits about it, so long as it fits the time frame.

That’s what I mean though, if Japan doesn’t care about perfect mouth movements, why should Western cartoons? As well as with Dubs “changing things to fit Western Culture,” aside from the occasional idiom or something, I think most people who even watch anime in the first place watch it with subs just fine. They don’t need an eastern-western filter.
 
I’m just wondering why Dubs don’t just cut the bullshit and do direct translations as well (except I suppose for frame-by-frame timing reasons, that at least makes some sense)

If universal does keep it’s efforts going with the whole remakes of their classic movie monsters they should change the Creature from the Black Lagoon from romantic interest to him trying to replace his own dead child with the child of the human Leeds,

No because we are specifcally supposed to see the creature as lonely being the last of it’s kind, plus just imagine the big reveal scene after we only see it’s hands and occasionally a flash of it as it sneaks around behind the other heroes, then at the climax one of the villains goes on a spiel about how lions deal with it when they take over a pride and takes aim at the daughter only for the creature to erupt from the water and go on an epic rampage through I guess Nazis would be good,
