Anyone notice that during the late 1970s-early 1980s disney was for the most part not doing too well in film and TV, but Lucasfilm as well as 20th Century Fox were in their prime? During most of the days of the days of the prequel trilogy (aka the late 1990s-mid 2000s) both had their share of problems, but with Disney most of their animated forays weren’t doing as well as in the Renaissance era(save for Lilo and Stitch, Meet the Robinsons, and arguably treasure planet) while both Indiana Jones and SW not only got and intended full-cirlce ending in cotinuity (though Kingdom of the Crystal Skull had convoluted plot elements) got many different novel and comic adaptaions as well as new comic stories(ie The Clone Wars Multimedia Project).
