My thoughts on Watchmen are all spoilers.
 
The main thing I remember about Watchmen is being sad that best boy Rorschach died. I also remember in the graphic novel, the last boss Ozymandias tried to blame the destruction of NYC on aliens.

I love Rorschach because hes an absolute psychopath and is basically a crazier and more violent version of Batman. I couldn’t really think of a lot of characters in that graphic novel I had a strong amount of empathy for. Maybe one or two of the Owlmen.

Which TT episode? If you mean his first appearance where Raven f–d him up, that was a year before Identity Crisi came out. His other appearance was a year after.

That second remark: seriously? I have heard that Alan Moore got very dismayed with the increasingly dark nature of modern comics.

I’ve started watching the Nostalgia Critic’s (Am I forbidden to talk about the Nostalgia Critic here?) lookback at the Fox Kids block and I came back to face to face with one of my personal scariest moments in animation ever: Beetlejuice’s scary as fuck face during the series intro. Not the intro where the stripes on his clothes form up, the one where he is being summoned by Lydia and we see him buried as he wakes up. Please don’t post that screencap if you know what I’m talking about. But if you’re brave enough to see what I’m talking about, go to 14:09 of this video and I apologize if I scared you shitless.

It actually didn’t start off that bad for me when I first saw it but then later for some reason, my mind just decided it was one of the scariest things I’ve ever seen in my life. Even when I accidentally ran into that face several months ago, it still made me jump.

That intro used to scare me too. I remember that when Nickelodeon used to show episodes, they would occasionally show a promo that would start by instantly showing that face being dropped into view. I wouldn’t be that scared to watch promos again until the Disney Channel started showing random commercials with the Large Marge face, sometimes within the first 20 seconds!
