What’s with the mugen tag being used multiple times on a certain G5 screencap? Something I missed?

It looks like it was present on one dupe upload that got merged, and then my best guess is that for the two subsequent uploads (edits), the uploader copied over all the tags from the original so it propagated.

As for why it was present on one of the merged dupes of the original, my best guess again is that it was an accidental autocompletion of “mug” to “mugen”, since “mug” was not tagged on the post that had “mugen” but was on the others.

Speculation, of course.

When exactly is it appropriate to have ‘implied-esue’ tags used?

I think we should have a description and implications for magic horn similar to magic wings.

When an image has hints to some content, subject or topic but doesn’t directly show them.

If there’s a speech bubble with purple-colored text talking about, like, princess duties, but Twilight Sparkle is not in the image, that’d be implied twilight sparkle
If a solo picture in which the character is wearing a necklace with some other pony’s cutie mark, there’s a good chance it’s implied [put shipping tag here]
etc.

It can be a bit subjective, sometimes. What in particular were you wondering about?

What are open hips, if they are distinct from spread legs?

My best bet is it’s intended for cases of “spread legs” (i.e. thighs being wide apart) where the rest of the legs are not quite spread (most importantly when squatting or having the legs bound in a way that resembles squatting). That would still mean widespread misuse.

My second bet, and this feels more relevant actually, is in the dance sense of “open hips”, i.e. having to do with the rotation of the legs (toward the lateral sides of the body), not the openness of the leg position.

It seems backwards to me that sugar (no parenthetical) is for R63 Snips and sugar (food) is the 2nd class tag. I mean, just look at the removal log for sugar…

I have the same objection for neon lights (so many removals! and using it adds rising star) vs. neon but at least that’s a character name.

P.S. In the description of sugar, the link to sugar (food) is broken.

There’s more case too where some
common thing’s name as a tag is actually scoped to an obscure (version of) character. Can’t remember the name but Rarity’s(??) pet lizard is one of those.

The green one is, yes. tho I think that alias can be unchained now as it’s long past the point of that happening.

Before I go any further, I wanted to ask this:

Can Aurora Starling’s usual anthro attire qualify as zebra print?

Since Flash is discontinued, some uploads from flash games/animations have sources to them that are still accessible but not working properly because of it (i.e. >>551852). Does dead source apply?

All the links in the description of wing covering are broken.

Said tag also appears to have been overtaken by porn. It used to mean just winged characters hiding behind their wings, but not anymore. Was this an intentional choice?

The name is a bit ambiguous, so people probably get it confused with wing sleeves. And the name “wing covering” has no reason to be limited to just self-covering with wings, so the description includes all covering that’s done with wings.

/edit to note that “covering” has the connotation of covering nudity, so most of the content of this tag is technically misuse in any case.

Does covering really imply nudity? What about covering an item to hide it? What about a shy character hiding their face? What about covering your face or items of value from wind, splashes or Pinkie’s exploding cake?

And yes, I know about wing umbrella.
