The My Little Pony Movie

Not sure if I want that lieutenant to be an umbrum or not. On the one hand, neat, continuity. On the other him being a storm cloud would mean another all new race is introduced.
 
I’m intrigued all the same.

Animated cloud seems better for a thing someone made, like an extension of his powers, than a whole new race.

they look like the baboons from legend of Spyro.  
also their masks kind of look like the decepticon insignia.

I think the movie will be critically well recieved. Not sure about financialy, but i guaranty that before the movie even drops they would have made their money back in toy sales.

We’ll have to wait for the main trailer to drop before we decide for real.

I’m not sure… I still remember the positive reviews from Rainbow Rocks and it’s one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen (I’m aware that I’m going to be in the minority here).
 
However, if they’re making this film, this big pony movie, I want to see it as a change of actitud, a necessary change in order to become what made the TV show popular.

I believe if the movie very well received, there will be 10 seasons, continue cons and a lot of comics. If the movie is a financial failure, the 8th season will be the last one and Hasbro will take until the last Equestria Girls drop.

BS the first movie was the only one that had a bad plotline

To me the only major drawback of the first movie was sunset being a terrible villan. Legend of everfree had a bad villan, 1 dimensional humane 6 (besides starlight and twilight) and the weakest ost. It’s not bad, though. Pretty good character development for twilight and shimmer, and they all got superpowers which is pretty awesome.

I’m not sure… The first EG was the only movie I liked out of all the EG productions. Maybe because somehow it feels like the TV show. I like some of the jokes (specially from Spike the dog) and I liked the first two thirds of the movie.

It was nothing but references. It did not make the movie great

EqG1 would’ve been better had Sunset been a better villain and they gave Flash more depth.

I don’t think I can wait any longer

I think we can be perfectly patient. Meanwhile we can enjoy watching some movies, listening to music, making some drawings… We have practical solutions until the movie is 100% ready to be released. ;)

This sense of anticipation also carries a sense of dread with me.

I think Capper might end up being an expy of Rocket Raccoon: wise-cracking jackass, but actually really hurting deep inside.
