One more month until my one year anniversary of EQG. I somehow watched all the 4 movies + 3 magic specials in one day.

If you can’t be here and have a civil conversation - if someone having a different opinion than you results in such outrageous acting out - then you need to take a break from this thread, and probably the site, until you calm down and can be friends with people, and not create fights and drama about things like this.
 
The question is - can you take that break yourself because you realize you aren’t having fun and are just creating drama?
 
Or do we have to ban you?

This is about “over the last week or longer you’ve been going into threads where there is NO drama and creating it because you appear to only be here to start fights, and you are seeing ‘Starlight Glimmer haters’ even on images that don’t have her, and where you are the only one talking about Starlight Glimmer in any way”.
 
And that’s a lot different than “absolutely no drama”.

Let’s be clear. I am sympathetic to your concern that there are people on the site who do not like Starlight Glimmer, and who enjoy talking about not liking her.
 
But they aren’t breaking any of our rules - it’s perfectly fine if they don’t like Starlight Glimmer. In fact, it’s 100% ok if they HATE her. So being a “Starlight Glimmer hater” isn’t against our rules.
 
Creating drama about other people’s opinions of characters over and over, especially where it is entirely off topic, or where you are the one starting the drama and carrying it on day after day after day and refusing to drop it even when staff asks you to drop it?
 
That’s very rule breaking.
 
So please take a break, and do something that you find fun - because right now you don’t seem to be having any fun, you’re completely fucking up everyone else’s chance to have fun, and we would really rather not ban you over something that appears to be entirely outside of your control.
 
And next time you think you see a “Starlight Glimmer hater” just unsubscribe and go do something else for awhile. Because you’re seeing “Starlight Glimmer hate” even where it doesn’t exist. And that’s not good for anyone.

Season 8… And they’re still students. The new designs made them look 15 years old!!!  
Remember when Sky and Bloom were getting engaged in the 2nd movie  
Whatever happened to that?!?  
I gave up having well-animated transformation sequences anymore.. it’s just modeling now.  
How the fuck did they manage to make it worse than Butterflix..  
 
(Musa’s and Tecna’s Cosmix outifts looks fantastic tho.)  
 
And that’s apparently a live action Netflix series confirmed?…  
My only hope w/ this franchise now is World of Winx.
 
Though I haven’t watched Pop Pixie, I will get to it someday.
 
At least Enchantix and Sirenix are making a comeback in Season 8; something to look forward to.

I can answer that nick reckoned it to a fucking princess ball because for some reason nickelodeon wanted to pretend that these girls where still teenagers even tho at this point in the franchise there well into there adulthood BTW don’t watch the nick dub of magical adventure its really bad.

I wasn’t a fan of the Nick dub till S5 and 6.  
Then they changed the voices in S7 again

There’s a bunch of comments that have been reported or are being looked at as Rule #0, etc, but it would be nice if we could just do an overall “Please be nice to each other” and not have to go line by line through this whole car wreck.

It’s one thing to be a little irrational about hating a certain character, it’s another to take it so dang personally.
 
I am among the camp that really wants to see Starlight make a second appearance in EqG for the sake of seeing her adorable human design be complimented by better writing (and us getting more of her and Sunset being cute together - I still stand by that should’ve been the main focus of Mirror Magic). However, whenever Angrybrony does express significant disagreement and I respond, I don’t do so in a confrontative way. It’d be very petty if I did.

The only reason Starlight was in Mirror Magic is just to exclude her from The Movie.
 
She already got plentiful of screentime more than Sunset @ even humane 6 in all EG installments.
 
If Princess Twilight is not gonna make another appearance, having Starlight again just screams fan service.
 
I never understand why y’all never acted the same way (get excited) with the humane 7.
 
Oh right because Starlight is controversial. It filled all sides with either excitement or angst.  
Starlight became the no. 1 topic in this fandom (other than shipping).  
To the point of mane 6 @ humane 7 seemingly insignificant almost as if they are background characters.

If that was the reason, then it was quite sloppily done. I’m not even talking about the quality of the special, I’m talking about how that and the movie don’t connect at all when you consider the context we’re given.
 
But even assuming that’s true, her human design and friendship with Sunset are both far too good to only use once IMO, regardless of what got her there to begin with. And I would support Princess Twilight making another appearance as well.
 
Plus, the reason we don’t get excited about the Humane 7 is because they’re the main characters. We kind of expect the series to mostly focus on them, and for the record a lot of people (both here and other places) talk about their roles as well. More attention is generally given to events that are more of a novelty.
