The irony is that the episodes of MYM are what fans generally like better than the specials, heh.

Anyway, just like last time, will be taking a break from posting here until I’ve watched all of MYM Chapter 5. Once again, not binging it all in one go because I like taking my time when I have to work.

Wow, Opaline literally just crushed the single, only noteworthy redeemable trait she had into dust.

Okay, so the question on how Opaline will react to Misty is revealed. She doesn’t even know. Misty has been hanging out with the Mane 5 for supposedly days, and Opaline thinks she’s up in her room sulking.

That’s hilarious and more confirmation that Opaline needs a hobby.

People are already binging the episodes. Do watch out for spoilers everywhere

So 4 generations, which means…120 years has passed since G4, I guess?

Just saw the new full map of new Equestria. It looks much smaller and more confined than I initially thought. It hardly resembles G4 Equestria that we know of. I guess dragons are one of the few non-pony species that survived.

Well, countries get together, some split. The world today is very different from ancient times so it makes sense for the new map to be smaller. Though I don’t think that is the whole map.

Cutie Blossom Bash
It was good. I liked the cutie mark stories. Misty’s definitely got some unresolved trauma. I really like the idea that she says no and sets boundaries. Her redemption arc continues with her acting as a double-agent.

Family Trees
This one is really cool. Misty’s having visions, and holy moley have they ever doubled down on the trauma thing. The Breezie Night Market feels legitimately supernatural. Purple Dragon! Purple Dragon! The Night Market is basically the pony version of The Backrooms.

Father of the Bridlewood
This really is “Misty processes her trauma: The Chapter”. It’s really cool the way they delve into Alphabittle being stuck in limbo since Misty disappeared. A whole bunch of easter eggs, and some lore about the trees.

Mane Smelody
Finally! Zipp and Sunny get paired up for an adventure that involves researching ancient Equestria. And a little side story about Pipp and Jazz. The Breezies actually came up again. Literally the scene after I remembered that Misty was supposed to go undercover, there was a scene about it.

Nightmare on Mane Street
This one was fun. Definitely some shipping fuel between Jazz and Rocky. Opaline has found a way into Maretime Bay, and I can definitely see Chapter 6 as the endgame.

Dawn is referring to Twilight, the whole story but was a play on how oral tradition mouth stories will change as their past along throughout the years from individual to individual misremembering details .

I doubt it’s been that short of a time. Considering all the Forgotten Knowledge unless that race propaganda really did that big of a number on them.

Just throwing this out there but likely that the elder is just extremely old like several hundreds of years which I feel like can be backed up with Granny Smith considering it suggested she was at least a couple hundred considering she was there since the founding of Ponyville.
