then I very humbly and respectfully suggest you pay attention and don’t attempt to generalize everyone in this thread. I’m sure that people here don’t mind actually communicating to one another about their thoughts / intentions and though I find myself somewhat agreeing with most claims here about the staff of IDW, mainly due to evidence being noticable from over a mille in just their works and well pointed in the wording of their posts, I’m sure you too can be convinced there’s some truth to what’s being said here..

I’ll just say, some people hate or love it has its own share of reasons. I’ve come to understand the story isn’t entirely wasteful, it has some good ups, but it also makes sense why it doesn’t hold up for others, with an execution as misguided as what we got..
 
trying to give this complacent reason isn’t exactly a good substitute to a discussion people are having here. The same goes for the attempt to reconciliate, which is really out of place right now seeing how there’s really no hostility anyone is showing against anything.  
If anything, to me it seems you got the wrong idea of what most people’s tone was in here.

The way Chrysalis goes from “Kill that bitch Twilight!” to “Come rule with me!” in has never sat well with me.

This has been bugging me (pardon the pun) for some time now: Where those three Changelings? Twilight got rid of them by throwing the flowers in a different direction, and the rest of the changelings didn’t seem that stupid.

I always saw that as just them being her minions disguised as the bridesmaids, but yeah, it’s never really explained at all is it?..
 
part of why I see it like that is, Shining Armor never went into attack mode when the jig was up, he was just sitting here like he was going through a deep sleep. That tells me Chrysalis can’t exactly make you do anything she wants, but rather she can convince you into doing something she wants by messing with your head and / or creating illusions, so it’s not really the same as hypnotism as much as it is psychological manipulation to the nth degree.

@toxicitzi After how often Twilight wrecks Ponyville, they probably had on some subconscious level wanted to pound Twilight’s face into mush. Especially Lyra, Lyra has good reason to!  
That’s the face of a pony whose soul is breaking in two.

Apparently the places that Curnow and Breckel check are almost universally positive about Reflections. Well, if you look at only Equestria Daily and The Round Stable (which they did…)

@Itsthinking To be fair to Breckel, she’s on tumblr. It’s likely they promote those as the only good ‘brony places’ to her.

She’s the person who calls out people talking shit about the fandom, though. She was quite well known for saying the BABSCon thing was bullshit and putting a 30k+ note anti-brony note that was talking about how the comics were the biggest example about how “they stole the show” and she told them to grow up. Single-handedly turned the reblogs from “this is so important and true” to “Hahahaha fucking owned.”
