Have you ever notice how the only reason we’re given to like a main character is because they’re the main character, and nothing about them is likeable?

A lot of series I like have main characters I don’t like and people trying to spend years telling me I can’t dislike the main character.

I’m thinking more character-focus stuff with a character who starts as a douche and never really change, like starting out as a not-rich douche and becomes a rich douche, with the writing acting like money made them a douche when they were always like that from the start.

I’m a Sonic fan but in a lot of canons/games I don’t like Sonic as a character or even wanna play as him, and usually in the games I hate him most he is all I have.
