That… doesn’t make the least amount of sense since Type Null/Silvally was a Pokémon created by the aether foundation

Unless it’s supposed to be like a Fusion or something it doesn’t make sense either way

What I believe it implies is that Null is from a splicing of eevee(for genetic fluidity) and a rare Pokémon and the resulting chimera’s features suggest yet undiscovered eeveelutions.
 
Don’t know if the connection to the Arceus game goes anywhere. Surely such tech would be beyond the implied time period.

In the part where you are in the ocean, when you encounter a bank of Finneon. Dunno if you need to make them jump from the water, but if you do, a Wingull will appear and catch one with its beak.

Considering Diancie is related to Carbink in so many ways I have to wonder if she was originally planned to be Carbink’s evolution before they decided to make her a legendary separate

I don’t think Diancie has a gender. And I think that was the intention of Carbink originally.

She pretty much is a Carbink evolution. It’s just that the mechanism is too rare and difficult to acheive in game.
