PAGASA (our meterological agency) just labelled this storm as a “Super Typhoon” right now.

I also read right after Hurricane Katrina about hundreds of thousands of dogs and cats wandering or swimming the innundated streets of New Orleans completely starved and have caught illness in the aftermath and I just can’t help but to feel pity and heartbreak.

Why? Because their people and government back then didn’t prioritize them upon evacuation.
