Yeah, this has easily been one of the worst years of my life. By far.
I’d say I’m ready for the year to end already, but what’s to say next year won’t somehow be worse? After all, I remember when I thought it couldn’t get any worse than 2020, and it feels like each subsequent year has only one-upped that shitshow.
Fuck me, and here I thought leaving Twitter would actually help me feel better.
Straight-up: I’m here for you all the way, mate. Here for you and everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community. If you also want to take a break from social media by any chance, I fully understand and support that as well. Do whatever you can and whatever you like to do to try and keep your chin up, and ultimately, fight the good fight. We all will, for each other.

BTW, Bluesky’s actually a really chill place to be on (they have a zero tolerance policy for bigotry and ragebait), so if you’re as tired of Twitter as I am (I plan on deactivating mine before the end of the month), I highly recommend it.
