Please remember that you are on an international website based in the EU with a couple million visitors a month, some of whom would be extremely happy to report us to anyone they can find to get us shut down for not properly handling people presenting as reasonable risks of self harm or harm to others. So if you present as a reasonable risk of self harm we may, depending on your local jurisdiction, have an obligation to report you to INTERPOL and to your local authorities. Whether or not we act on that is largely up to a gut feeling but based on your other posts on the site today you are starting to really look like someone who is not doing a ‘cry for help’ but might actually be in crisis.

So if this is just a ‘cry for help’, please try to talk about what is going on instead of making threats of self-harm. It’s ok - you can just talk about how upset you are. You don’t have to ‘make it real’ by threatening to drink bleach until you die.
But - if you are REALLY in risk of harming yourself or someone else, please go to an emergency room or contact your local suicide hotline.
Because us reporting you to INTERPOL won’t do anything good for us, and reporting you to your ISP won’t do anything good for you, and all of it will take at least a couple hours of bullshit forms and headaches for everyone concerned.

PS: Don’t take what is happening in the ‘Politics’ thread as any kind of indication of the normal users or interactions here. That is a ‘containment zone’ - a cess pool where people who only come here to complain about election results and pride month go to vent about how much they hate ‘brown people in Disney movies’ (wow, I really wish I was making that up). If they were doing that anywhere else on this site they’d be banned. So - maybe just avoid that thread, too. It’s toxic. Especially today.

It’s hard for me to give you any advice because it would ‘out’ which country you live in. But, it might be helpful for you to talk to someone who understands what you are going through. You can search online for support helplines near you (there should be several nearby where you live) and there will be people there who can listen, and who might help you process what you are dealing with.
True, online support lines can be a crap shoot - but sometimes they really work. And if you’re feeling like this, then what do you have to lose?

This site is built on the internet and uses computers. So, yes. But I think you understand that what we are trying to do is prevent drama and make sure that people (especially artists) don’t get hurt. If you want to make a new account go ahead and I’ll flag it as “on probation” or something so you can talk to others here and so others on staff don’t ban you because they realize who you are. Just please oh my gosh PLEASE take all of your previous bans as warnings and don’t create drama. Because right now we really have all the drama we can handle.

The site’s been here for more than a decade and we’ve seen people change. So we try to give people chances to change. It sounds like you’re going through something hard right now and keeping you off the site would mean banning everyone in a 100 mile radius of you so instead of doing that maybe you can just make a new profile and try to please get along and just filter stuff that we’ve asked you to filter?

So first I get rejected from a job opening and now the election results came out to, THAT. That’s absolutely wonderful…
The music Discord server that I’m in took it worse, with one of the members paranoid about the whole Project 2025 thing and I had to calm him down. It has not been pretty at all for any of us, not even me, I’m just a bit overwhelmed.

Yeah, this has easily been one of the worst years of my life. By far.
I’d say I’m ready for the year to end already, but what’s to say next year won’t somehow be worse? After all, I remember when I thought it couldn’t get any worse than 2020, and it feels like each subsequent year has only one-upped that shitshow.
