Trusting that you live in a world where you don’t have to lock the door ALL the time is not a weakness or something to punish yourself for.
It’s ok to sometimes NOT feel a constant state of vigilance and to periodically just be ok in a world where right now you’re not at threat.
Some people use that against us. But that’s THEIR mental problem, not our’s.
Honestly, I was on the verge of puncturing my right hand using the knife out of frustration BUT the moment I saw this post instantly, it reminded me of the tip my psychiatrist gave me when I’m losing all my known shit. Anger will always end me on the L side. Anger actually also prevails out of me whenever I keep making the same old mistakes I’ve always wanted to redeem for so many years to no avail. Does that mean it’s inevitable? Then it’s in my temperous nature that I should avoid but couldn’t at all.
You only lost a speaker, which is a petty childish thing for someone to steal.
People who lie and steal become dependent on lying and stealing.
Don’t throw your life away over some nonsense. They’re either a dumb kid, or they have a hard life ahead of them.
Just raise your guard, inventory your stuff and if you catch a stranger in your house then do what you want.
Peculiarly, they only took the speaker alone. There are PLENTY MORE VALUABLE stuff out here in the living room and kitchen that’s far more worth than the bluetooth speaker such as our portable rice cooker, power bank, my telescope, and air fryer. OH! I also left two of my expensive 1:64 Bugatti car models right beside that speaker so I am in disbelief they even spared that.
The way I see it is they only steal lightweight materials that can be easily carried or put it in their backpack or case.
And the reason why they steal things like these not just to own it for themselves, they would sell it to a junkshop where it’s material value is worth the money, then they’ll spend that money for food. (Very 3rd world livelihood right here, this type of shit)

Hermit crabs are not worth their penny situation-wise on how our system rolls, they dgaf about insignificant stuff as low profit as that.
