Well, harem MCs are meant to be a self-insert most often, in order to get people interest. To me, the main gimmick of harem series is to have people envision themselves as the MC surrounded by attractive women, with the blander the MC the better.

A harem pretty much needs a focal point to be a harem.
 
Otherwise it’s just a group of distinct and mildly friendly women together.

I tried watching one where some samurai moves in with a group of girls.First episode has him exploring a city for the first time after living in the countryside all his life. Though as the episodes went on I noticed some things that made me groan such as…

Mc getting beaten up by the oldest sister that’s most likely to end up with him  
Mc ends up in situations out of his control or even looks at another girl and gets beaten up for it.  
The obligatory Tsundere that’s jealous of the older sister’s bigger boobs and loves the Mc  
Highschool setting
 
Though what I was interested in was premise. There’s usually assassins or rival clans and so on that want the Mc dead. But the usual harem tropes aren’t my thing.
 
Only character I liked was the genre savvy sister that makes manga.She bases her stories and characters over the relationships everyone else goes through and I found that hilarious.

I’m probably the only one who never hated Chris, probably because I spent more time hating Sonic himself.

That’s fair. I just found Chris to be a bland audience surrogate at best, and an unlikable asshat at worst. He also fails to be relatable in any way due to being rich and all that.
 
Personally, I think that the wheelchair-bound girl (one of Chris’ friends) would have been much better as the main character. Big missed opportunity.

Its best to put TES series to rest after VI. After TES IV: Oblivion, the series started to lose quite a bit of the wonder and substance. Skyrim should have lost the GOTY title another game, like either Bioshock 2, WOW Catyclysm, Forza 2011 or Crysis 2.

No fucking racing game should ever even be considered in the main GOTY competitions, or expansions for MMO and definately not a fucking tech demo for a game engine like Crysis, the only game you listed there that deserved to even be considered was BioShock 2 and that wasn’t better than Skyrim,

About harem manga and anime, I would like to see a reverse harem story where the MC is a girl dealing with her male harem candidates, if only to see if somebody can succesfully pull such a story.

As they should have, i liked BioShock 2 but it’s not as good as Skyrim, and the other games listed are an expansion and games that are lame as fuck,

Cata saw WoW, a global phenomenon, sitting at peak popularity.
 
Until Legion and BfA, it was the fastest selling Wow Xpac, and was the top selling PC game of that year other than Skyrim.
 
Expansions (other than WoD and BfA) are full games on release. They’re not content packs.
