Unpopular opinion time (super alpha no pony edition)

I absolutely hate hate hate hate hate hate hate Donald Trump (not exactly unpopular, but there are people that support him) and it blows my mind that he even managed to get elected looking at his record-breaking ABYSMAL approval ratings (a mere 37% according to the latest polls). Don’t get me wrong, both candidates were terrible, but at least with Hillary we wouldn’t be trying to repeal obamacare and defunding planned parenthood, I mean jesus.

I am an anti-theist. I acknowledge that religion can do some good, but that is in spite of religion itself, there’s no reason you have to be religious to do charity work.

Islam is the worst thing in the history of anything ever. I instantly lose respect for anyone who isn’t an atheist, and even more so if they are Muslim.

The wage gap is bullshit. Feminism is bullshit. I am squanchly anti-feminsm and anti-social justice, proudly. Oppression in the 1st world is bullshit. Women’s oppression is bullshit. Diversity is bullshit. Racism does not become acceptable just because it’s done by a minority group (yes there are some people who actually believe that black people can’t be racist).

The first transformers was good, albeit flawed

I found the first transformers extremely bland. I don’t see how anyone could call it good by any stretch of the imagination.

Obamacare was never needed. There are better ways to make healthcare better, such as restructuring the federal levels of Health Care(ie get rid of the FDA and replace it with a more competent organization) as well as stop being so afraid of alternative medicinal practices. I myself am no Trump fanboy, but I do not think that the popular vote for Hillary was legitimately counted. Also, many people who claim Trump is as thin-skinned as a typical 5-6 year-old boy ought to LOOK IN THE FUCKING MIRROR, as they feel the need for a #safespace for their precious emotion-obsessed minds! What that lot should be doing is get fucking therapy, counseling or(in rare cases) surgery for their tissue paper thin skin. Yes, His temper is short indeed, no doubt about that. Oh, and if Thailand can have arrangements and talks for construction of a wall on its border with Malaysia, why CAN’T the US do the same?

It’s not that. More often than not, politics is a live bomb. Even if you have unpopular opinions (such as hating Muslims, considering I am one though I don’t hold anything against you), it’s more likely to start arguments and a yelling match.

Plus, mods always watch. And they’re pretty tired of our shit every time politics is involved.

So many other countries have managed to create a free healthcare service which works. Canada, England, and others have all put something together that doesn’t require nearly as much bull shit or hoops to jump through as what is going on in the US.

I’m actually currently working with a company where I am a CSR helping consumers over the phone. I learned that while Affordable Care Act does make things better in some ways, forcing health insurance companies to be made accountable for their actions as well assuring certain essential health benefits, I also feel the bill is far from perfect.

From what I have learned, it leaves me wishing we could just have a “health tax” over dealing with insurance companies.

I think health care should be affordable, but I wouldn’t go as far as it being free. Water isn’t free yet and it’s an essential part of life.
