What I recently learn, Nyarlathotep is an Outer God, not a “Great Lord.” Terminology, my friend.
 
With that aside, I need something that says “Vote for Nyarlathotep: He’s Cthulhu, only with a better understanding of humans.”

The Outer Gods are creatures of the void, and are “lords” in a manner of speaking.
 
Not like those wannabe “great old ones”. Cthulhu gets a pass.
 
The Elder Gods are ok too, but a little short sighted.

From my understanding from Youtube and the H.P. Lovecraft Wiki, Outer Gods are boundless beings that are free to go anywhere, Great Old Ones are lesser version that are stuck in one place on Earth, and the Elder Gods were made by Lovecraft’s friend to be the “good” version of the Old Ones, and usually went against the idea of the mythos.
 
Also, why does Cthulhu get a pass? From what I’ve heard/been told, in his one appearance by Lovecraft, he’s either the Paul Revere of the Great Ones/Outer Gods, or just one of their priest.
