Can’t wait for a sequel.
The film takes place during a difficult transition in Riley’s life, and Due to the longing of happy memories from old house.
Therefore - Sadness began to take control of an impulse she herself did not understand.
I’ve paid attention throughout the entire movie (to the point of being slightly disappointed that there was no post-credits scene). I base my original comment on the fact that Joy couldn’t ‘restore’ the memories ‘spoiled’ by Sadness as soon as it happened, and also that she couldn’t do the same trick the Sadness did on a whim, requiring some dramatic “trapped in a point of no return” scene.
If it’s explained by the existence of some other force (which unexplicably forces Sadness to touch everything), then I have to ask why there is another force in the first place, and why it’s not explained.
I guess I can’t nitpick that much because it’s about the mind, and it’s incredibly hard to decipher it. I liked this movie.
It’s my leading emotion a lot of times.
Yeah, having happy memories about how good was before compare to the crappy present, can be very sad thing!
