The overlooking even all of that, this story is just way too contrived. I’m supposed to believe this?

Yes its fucked up if you try to take it seriously all in the same canon.  
I give zero fucks. I am fully capable as someone with a fully-functional imagination and the ability to suspend disbelief that events transpired in some sort of alt universe that the two genuinely fell in love, because paternal Sombra is wonderful.

As I understand it, the original version is: Sombra dies, gets resurrected, something that’s not really clear happens in between, Twilight loses her wings because of some stupid plot device, Sombra bangs Twilight, another not really clear thing happens, Sombra turns good, he marries Twilight, they have kids, and I lost track of whatever the fuck was supposed to be going on after that.

Ugh, so you’re telling me in the slave version of this, Sombra dies and yet after something like Lima syndrome comes, he’s resurrected and not only manages to swoon Twilight sparkle but make her have his kids?!  
Ouch, these flaws really are hurting the comic.

No. Now that that backstory was discarded it’s somehow even more confusing, since it never says how Sombra came back to life and ended up marrying Twilight, which is a constant problem this comic has.

So the point is that it, at the very least, was considered and to an extent is still a factor in Twilight sparkle’s love for Shadow Sombra?  
That only pushes my point even further, because if it was rejected by the fans that means even the over payers found that too disturbing for them.

Well, they were supposed to happen in the same universe, but My Little Slave was so poorly received (Take a guess why) it eventually branched off into it’s own universe.
