Little Woona Is so adorable~

It’s kinda a joke card but I wanted it to be playable. What do you think? I got this Idea from BlueYoshi, someone how commented on my Luna, Moonlight Warrior Card.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Across all of your cards, your costs are very high/restrictive. Think about adding colorless mana to keep the cost, but eliminate some of the heavy investment in color. As for this card, flavor wise, it feels very green/black as well. You could possibly work that into the casting cost and ability cost, however the activated ability has the potential to be bonkers, considering you don’t have to tap Woona herself to activate it.

Okay, it’ll be pretty douche baggy of me to just say it sucks and leave it there, and I really don’t think it sucks, I didn’t see the flash last time i read it, but now I know it has flash I still don’t see it being played. Here’s why.

Modern.

In mordern, mono blue mill is just not a good deck, blue-black is decent though, and even though you could find lands enough to fill up 100% blue mana sauces, it’s just waaay too slow. Milling has over the years in modern gone from a slow controlling strategy, to a hyper agressive almost burnlike playstyle, other that that it doesn’t give you instant value, unless you flash-block with it, which if that’s what you are seeking a card to do, have better options for, hence Vendilion Clique or Restoration Angel, and if you are looking for five mana-drop that doesn’t give you instant value, pick one that doesn’t die to burn. If you however are playing a slow controlling mill-strategy, and are looking for an end of your curve, the big finisher, and you say to yourself, I want a five mana mill bomb, this could work, only because of it’s flash, which is a thing I didn’t notice as I posted my last comment, but even with flash, would you pick it over Jace, Memory Adept or Consuming Aberration. Jace is instant value, and the Aberration basicly one hits, is Woona’s flash worth giving up those huge upsides, even though it mills less, and are easier to kill (You can trick them for a counterspell though, and that’s pretty good.)

standart.

Okay I admit that if this card was printed in standart right now, it would be nothing less that broken do to the nature of the current meta game. But if we rewined time, and put it into earlier set, I think you’ll have to go back it time to the days where creatures sucked balls for this to see much play. The first problem is again it’s low thoughness. Standart almost always has a deals 2 damage instans spell, and many people play them. The second problem is the nature of the card. Milling has to be a viable beck for you to play this card, that is unless the set is full of powerfull big fliers that everybody stuffs thier decks with instead of removal… Something that I don’t recall ever happening. If mill however is a strategy, if it’s cost worth it? If morden you can easily fill your deck with dual lands of one type or another, in standart you can’t, you have to work with a curtain mana-base, and unless your deck is mono colored, it’s gonna be hard to play this regardless.

EDH.

I would friginn’ love this card in EDH, maybe i’ll even try playing this card in EDH, just for the fun of it, see how it works there. I have a hard time seeing which deck it would fitt into though, maybe Talrand, or The Mimioplasm, I don’t know, still not the best I think, but EDH is for the fun of it, right.

Legacy/Vintage

Okay I addressed my points, why do you think it is good? :)

Anything with 2/x and Flying/Reach or damage Sorc/Inst ends it. Combined with 8 mill making it enough of a threat to devote resources to, but not enough thoughness to work as a pin-cushion, and you have a card that goes to the graveyard the moment it enters play.

This card would (granted it existed)not be even slightly playable in any main deck, in any format. Good in sideboard though, but pretty weak elsewere.

I thought so. Well, you know I started this card at fifteenth. You should thank me for not milling your soul away with four attacks! ;P

But yeah, I tried making it balance by giving her low def? maybe not low enough, maybe low the 8 to a 6?

when your deck runs out of card, you lose. milling is a strategy focusing around making this happen to the other guy.

so putting the top 8 cards from their library into their graveyard is milling for 8. and it is really fracking annoying.
