three years from nowthen! I’m preemptively excited. (Scootaloo’s my favorite.)it started out as maybe-steam-power-written-by-someone-who-doesn’t-really-understand-steam-power (:‘D) but developed itself into an alchemy-based world, so…more like fantasy chemistry I guess?? I’m planning on having a big infodump about the elements once they actually get on the airship, so that’ll get explained eventually (I keep saying this, sob. I swear it’ll actually happen soon!! …ish!!)

I was thinking more like the inverse of the cyborgs from Ghost in the Shell.
Like, using a human brain as a central processor, stuff like that.
Not exactly. These robots ran on clockwork and aspired to appear more human so that they could move on to the ‘Promised Land’ as it were.
They harvested several body parts to themselves to do so, often replacing parts if some tend to get on in age.

Ugh, that’s disgusting! It reminds me of those robots from the 1999 movie “Virus” where they ‘augment’ themselves from dead Human body parts.
And of course, there’s the Terminators, T-800+ models.
Or maybe like in “Transformers: Beast Machines” where organic and mechanic act purely on as one.
A bio-mechanical construct? Think of a cyborg, but backwards, a robot augmented by organic pieces.
