That much didn’t bother me so much as most of the rest of the movie.

What could you get when you start with a full R rated parody and you try making it appeal to both grown ups and kids at the same time while marketing it at kids? This.

… Oh and I will say there are some parts of Mystery Incorporated which I think could be improved upon but majorly, it even has stuff like Rainbow Rocks music power. (That music power is from Season 2; It came out in 2012.)

I don’t even consider that live-actor movie to be canonical. Even months before I first saw it I didn’t think it would be like the cartoons, and once I did watch it the movie sounded so fake. Ugh.

On another note I just got done watching Mystery Incorporated which I recommend. It’s not quite like the originals and it’s apocalyptic but darn is it good in this world of what looks like fake Scooby-Doo to me.

Yeah, I think Scrappy gets more hate then he deserves…

In fact, I thought it was rather unfair that they made him the villain, and portrayed him very OOC, and like a “jerk” in the first live-action Scooby-Doo movie…

Y’know, I kinda liked Vincent Van Ghoul to. Especially, sense he was originally voiced by Vincent Price.

I was into Scooby-Doo in the 1990s and I still watch it sometimes. I never thought of Scrappy-Doo as annoying either, it just sounds to me like a bunch of people trying to blame others for their own actions AGAIN!

Also, the newer “Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated” (which isn’t bad though it’s not the same as the earlier TV shows; It does have nods to earlier episodes and even has VIncent Van Ghoul as a recurring character) has a moment where Daphne looks at a Scrappy statue and Fred says “We promised we wouldn’t talk about him.” Sad. Scrappy did mature throughout the episodes; at first he was all “LET ME AT ’IM, LET ME AT ‘IM!” and occasionally mistook food that Scooby had for his own food but in later episodes he wasn’t always getting into fights; he even decided against it in at least one episode on a second thought.

Yeah, I was never bothered by him either. I’ve seen characters much more annoying then him personally.

I hear ironically, Scrappy used to be quite popular with kids. As a kid, I actually found him less annoying then Scooby & Shaggy. (To be honest, I was never really a Scooby-Doo fan in the first place. I only watched it when I was waiting for the next show to come on.)

I dont really get you,Americans. When i was young,i watched some Scooby Doo episode with Scrappy Doo and i was not annoyed (granted,Scrappy didn’t really caught my attention. When i grew up and i had my Internet connection,i was flabbergasted to discover that Scrappy Doo was the poster child for “Character hated by the audience” I guess i dont get it, for what i read people think Scrappy is annoying
Eh,i guess i have high tolerance to annoyance then

Am I the only one who thinks Scrappy isn’t that bad? I kinda found it funny how he’d always try to pick a fight with the bloodthirsty monster that was at least seven feet taller than him.

Can’t say too much for Spike as Scrappy, but for the rest of them that’s fairly accurate. Especially Twilight as Velma and Rarity as Daphne.
