Apparently one of the unused concepts showcased at Botcon one year was that figure redecoed as Twilight Sparkle. Unfortunately it was shown at a panel with some bullshit ‘no photos’ rule, so none of us will ever see it.

Probably because he was never a Hasbro toy. While many Beast Wars Neo molds have seen western release in one form or another over the years, Mach Kick’s never has. I’d imagine that many of the people who work on the show either don’t know of him or only know of him through customs such as this and haven’t seen fit to add him.
 
A black Earth Pony with a white patch on his muzzle and a Maximal cutie mark would be cool though.

I think it’s supposed to be a battle platform. The idea being that another figure stands behind him and launches his head-punch gimmick at any Predacons that get too close. At least it’s not as bad as Break’s (the penguin) third mode who literally looks like he’s performing oral sex on any figure holding his weapon mode.

So, anyone have any idea what that third mode is meant to be? I’ve been wondering ever since I first saw a picture of Mach Kick in it.

The other option on a ponyformer is the Battle Unicorn/Magna Stampede mold.

He was the design from on of the winners of a Japanese contest to design a Transformers character and/or toy. He was then produced by Takara and has never seen a western release.
 
Although his transformation is quite challenging, it becomes less frustrating with practice and is a lot easier to do than many of the figures from Hasbro’s recent movie lines.
 
He goes for quite cheap on eBay, and if you buy the Korean one, you get Archadis (an Archeopteryx) as well. If you’re at all interested in the concept of a My Little Pony Transformer, this is as close as we’re likely to get and he’s well worth picking up.

All I know is that I want one!
