“Satan” does indeed mean “adversary” in Hebrew. It’s not even a name. It’s just a description of a one-episode antagonist who got really popular in fanfiction.

I’m fairly sure that would be something involving Nightmare Moon, Discord, or Tirek.
 
I think it’s more likely to be a vulgar anatomical reference, or just a very strong expletive in general. Apparently, when the Apples say “we don’t swear at the dinner table in this family,” they mean it.

I know the word “Satan” means “Devil” To some people, But I have seen it used as a rather neutral term; I’ve read it used in context meaning “Adversary” and “Accuser” and not necessarily “Devil.” You can look up the word if you want to.
