Discord wanted to thank Fluttershy for taking care for him, for providing him with a roof over his head when he was weak and without magic. So he decided to invite his beloved on a date but he had no idea about dates. Being romantic was never his forte, so he asked Spike and Big Mac for help and advice. The dragon and the earth pony had a lot of fun with it and joked about the embarrassed Discord but they agreed to help him. They helped him choose a place for the date and prepare it … and be around during the date and “support” Discord mentually and tell him what to say.  
Discord was nervous, stuttered and kept looking at the bushes where Spike and Big Mac were hiding. Fluttershy knew something was wrong and immediately guessed what was going on when she heard a sneeze coming from behind the bushes. She ordered them to come out of hiding. After a quick greeting, the dragon and the stallion run towards the Apple family home. Discord was embarrassed and depressed. He was convinced he had messed his first date with Fluttershy. He wanted everything to be perfect and instead eveything went wrong.  
Fluttershy didn’t think so. She told Discord that it would be enough if he was himself and even if he had no idea about romance, she didn’t mind.  
After a few minutes of cuddling and kisses, the mare suggested a walk in the starlight.  
At the end of their date, she sang a song at Discord’s request. Discord was charmed by her voice and couldn’t take his eyes off her. After the date was over, he walked her to her cottage’s door.
