The source of light also doesn’t usually come from underneath so having it reflect at the bottom of her eyes makes it look strange

I mean look at the image above. It’s porn of Rarity. Pony porn is everywhere, yes, but does it also still have its innocent side? Of course it does. OCs be damned, the official characters are even proof of this.
 
Just block the explicit or even suggestive tag and search for the same character and you’ll find plenty of completely innocent and adorable art of her - Rarity being just one example. You’ll see a lot LESS of course, because you’re narrowing a search, but innocent content has hardly disappeared and she’s just one example out of pretty much every tag on this site. We’re never gonna stop doing innocent art on this site either, and I don’t think we’ve really slowed down at all either.
 
So Rarity as an example - she’s never been “replaced” by porn, we still get to enjoy perfectly safe for work content of her, what makes you say the opposite for the future of someone’s OC? An OC who is completely in control of its owner, who historically has been really innocent. I doubt they’d choose to personally see through this character going through such a dramatic change that literally we never get another innocent image of Brownie Bun again, that’s ridiculous. We don’t even know if they’d feel like going there at /all/ with that character. And I don’t think “she was famous before porn ever happened, she doesn’t need it to be famous now” is really a great argument either, because it also doesn’t explain why it should be forbidden for her to ever go in such a direction. MLP in general caught on without the porn, did it need it? No, but I still like that it happened. A little porn - hell, a lot of porn at once - isn’t going to destroy Brownie Bun. Unnecessary things can still be good, it can still please a certain crowd. Again, you could say the same for all pony porn and I for one am glad we’re where we are now. Some would be ashamed, I’m not - I whole heartedly adore that this community has reveled in this creative freedom, free from judgement of others, free from the kink shaming of what is the admittedly weird fetish of pony porn. I like that the internet has allowed this to exist.
 
All in all, where you care about a group’s image of “innocence”, I just care more about freedom, and just…. the right to enjoy porn. I’m sorry, but I just… feel very differently from you, clearly. And not only would I /not/ consider what you’re warning of to be any real substantial loss, I don’t even foresee said loss to take place at all. Whatever happens, I’ll be auto-faving pretty much….everything Brownie Bun related by default just like I enjoy both innocent and adorable images of Fluttershy just as much as I do the hot sweaty oof, and next week we’ll probably get an image of Brownie Bun eating peanut butter anyway.

There is literally no chance of Brownie Bun being totally replaced by Lewdie Bun. Brownie Bun is essentially immortal compared to other OCs and she can never be stopped. Except maybe by a jar of jelly.
 
Anyway sorry for this and I really don’t think there’s anything more to say on the matter, but I just felt…compelled. What you’re saying just doesn’t make any sense to me, I don’t see this as a big deal at all.

Hey, back off a step. Don’t judge us for wanting it. We like her character for what she is, yes, but we would also like to see her in another genre of art and that’s our business. Don’t read anything into it or go on about why it’s wrong. It’d only be more wrong if we all start doing the art ourselves, against the consent of the owning artist. Then that would be potentially rude.
 
And it’s not like we want to replace her innocence - I love her for what she is, her memes are funny and cute. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t also like seeing some lewd every now and then. One doesn’t have to replace the other. I won’t harass the artist or bully them into doing it, but if it happens, I for one will enjoy the occasional treat. She’s cute, I’m into cute. It won’t be the end of the universe if we start to see more adult images of this character as a result of TJPone’s newfound confidence in sharing these kinds of images.
 
If you start to see more lewd images of this character and don’t like it, just block the inevitable future “busty brownie bun” tags or anything like that.

Why? Seriously, why do you both “need” that? What does the prospect offer that you cannot get from some other lewd image literally anywhere else on this site? The character became popular without ever venturing down that particular path, and remains as of yet entirely enjoyable without that element. I can think of nothing explicit content would add that would mark an improvement to what it already is.
 
I don’t have a problem with explicit content. But I’m tired of this idea that it has to be applied to everything. It won’t end the universe if something innocent and cute actually remains that way for once, and I honestly hope Brownie Bun does.

I realize neither of us really have a say in whether that happens or not, but honestly, I’d prefer not. Brownie is cute and (relatively) innocent, and just once it would be nice to have something stay that way. At the very least doing so would be more unique and noteworthy than adding it to the thousands upon thousands of other innocent turned explicit images that already exist here.
