Description
Commissioned by Wes13, who had this idea that Spike isn’t actually played by a kid dragon but rather a full grown woman dragon who deflates to appear small when preforming scenes. Here we have Miss Barbara Greenscale about to get back to herself after a normal day of shooting… For about 10 seconds.
I’d love to see this one myself. Especially if they included her pal Samantha, who is the actress who portrays Smolder in this setting and is just as zaftig as Barb when inflated.
I think it’s supposed to be that Barb is female in both forms, but in her smaller one she’s basically a preteen and so lacks most of the ‘attributes’ of a teen-aged or older female.
Of course being reptilian she shouldn’t have breasts and hips that wide at all – but this is fantasy!

Given this is a cartoon interpretation, you’re probably dead on.
Now I imagine her deflation sounding like someone letting air out of a rubber tire, with plenty of loud squeaks.
She Deflates by blowing air out of herself or by poking herself with a pin. :3
Besides, the show must go on!
Another artist did this same concept, probably from the same commissioner. I like both interpretations.
