OOOOhh, the continuation of the comic: the Legends of Magic Annual…
 
The first time I saw that comic, I thought it was the continuation of the end of season 7 … and after reading it I realized it was another universe (so MLP was touching the theme of the multiverse, but of course we saw that in season 5).
 
And now this happens, Luna sees the memories of a reality that never happened in her time line, because according to I understand (I think, at least that they change the story in the series) StarSwirl never returned from his adventure against the sirens and the princesses never knew the legends (at least if they had known them, but they never told anypony and all the ponies alone saw them as legends), but in the comic the Legends of Magic Annual, Stygian was the leader and with his help they defeated the pony of the shadows (which turned out to be himself, but from another universe).
 
But what if that pony of the Shadows managed to open a portal to that universe (the current one) and has caused misfortune and mischief from the shadows … for years…
 
What if….

Mhe…The theme of the multiverse and time travel are very complex, better not to think so much and enjoy the comic.

Yes, Luna. That really happened. You and your sister, of course, wouldn’t remember it because you were unconscious. Then again, I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want to remember the part where you were almost turned evil.
