Description
Those of you who’ve read The Journal may see that I am not following the storyline closely: what Twilight is reading to Flurry is a short, simplified version of the Heart chapter fit for the youngest audience; the continuation that Spike “sees” is something different altogether - more will follow on the next page. If you haven’t read this book, don’t worry, only my comic version is important.
(Also, I would like to remind you that Celestia (and Luna by proxy) are Flurry’s grandaunts, because Celestia has adopted Cadance as her niece in one of the chapter books.)

Uh….we all make mistakes! ^^’
well um… first, she hatched a stolen egg, which wasn’t too terrible but she sure didn’t wonder where it came from. then she refused to be the dragon’s mommy, which is understandable since she’s just a little kid who can’t handle that, but spike should’ve been able to talk with her about it now that she’s not a little kid. then she started getting in between starlight and sunburst just as their relationship was rekindling, which might not have been avoidable with how easily threatened and insecure starlight is, but could have been handled more compassionately.
then she decided to take the dragon she stole and neglected, along with a pony with more issues than time magazine, over to the crystal empire, where twilight sparkle ignored everyone’s warnings in order to play with umbral magic, screwed up and released sombra’s spirit from its crystal prison, condemning everyone present to perpetual nightmares, read a book about ponies defeating an evil dragon to a clearly distressed dragon, who she should have known was distressed since she’s his mommy, putting the entire crystal empire in jeopardy, giving shining armor nightmares about being unable to protect his child.
I’m actually kind of impressed.
……….should I ask why?
I wouldn’t be surprised if she went back in time and stole the heart too, at this rate.
