Considering every other two parter, I wouldn’t even consider this deserving enough of a two parter.
I have to say that it IS a big change to one of my favorite characters. That said, they made it in a good, sensible way, so I’m okay with it.
Hey, I approve this change. Just wish they had done it in a two parter to tell the story in a less rushed way.
I see it as being on par with the CMC getting their butt tattoos

It’s instinctual, I guess? Twilight was born a Unicorn and was never meant to naturally have wings while Spike’s a dragon and I guess he’s supposed to have them.

Keep in mind this episode not only aired earlier in another country but it was also one of the leaked episodes. Getting good screencaps and gifs this fast makes sense when you put that into consideration.
