I don’t know why you thought I was comparing Starlight to Hitler, nor do I understand this assumption that I was encapsulating ALL of Hitler’s agenda in a single sentence… because I wasn’t. You even said what I was doing outright: “Indeed you could say that would wipe out uniqueness,” because, yeah, that’s what Hitler’s goal was - while Adolf blamed the Jews, everyone in concentration camps were put to death, ultimately, to further this insane “master race” idea.

No, he didn’t. Not that I want to defend the Nazi regime in Germany, but that’s just a pathetic pun of yours without any real content.
 
Hitler wanted to push the “Gleichschaltung” (co-ordination) to establish a system of totalitarian control and coordination over all aspects of German society. From the economy and trade associations to the media, culture and education.
 
Sorry to nippick, but I just don’t like awful one-liners.
 
Aside the Gleichschaltung the more disgusting crime of the nazi regime was the “Arianisierung”. The attempt to (re)create the “master race” and to purge the unworthy and enslave the lesser genetic “races”. Indeed you can say that would wipe out the uniqueness, but I wouldn’t compare it with the psychological attempt of Starlight to wipe out the difference between the cutie marks. Because it’s more a attempt to change or stop destiny. Not the wish to create a genetic enhanced superpony.

And yes, I know who’s day of death today (30.4.) is, and like most of all Germans I simply don’t care. 73 years later and the Austrian bastard is still around and not long forgotten. No offense, dear Austrians neighbors.
 
And the Starlight Glimmer = Hitler meme is so damm historical wrong, I just cringe. The Josef Stalin Meme at least is a little bit more funny, but only because I’m no Russian or Eastern German. But wrong also. Starlight the Cult Leader, why are so few memes about this out there? Because cults are more common in the US? Basiclly most of the American religion!? Sorry, no offense too, but I’m just sick of this shit and hope all the haters will go down one day and suffer in silence. :-/
