For a green nature lover who took the time to grow her body hair, removing all this fur would be humiliating. Why do I get the feeling that, given what Wallflower did, Rarity would take not-quite-undo pleasure in waxing those really hairy parts?

i think those are penlike make up products with the specific purpose of painting skin color on skin, used to hide whatever spots might otherwise be visible.
