What did you expect?
Kinda obvious that everyone of them will end up with different type of pet.
We got a cat, dog, talking dog, “aligator”, rabbit, tortoise… why did you expect another cat?
It was very obvious she will get something unique and different than rest, like a bird, snake, spider, lizard or gecko.
