Description

Finally, here’s my fan-made poster of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic crossed with The Land Before Time. I was originally going to have this up last month. But due to making videos for my YouTube channel, I kind of pushed it aside. But now, it’s up for you to see.

I had this idea after listening to the music from The Land Before Time around the time when James Horner passed away. And so, I created this poster by having the Mane 6 and Spike in the same walking positions as Littlefoot and his friends on the actual poster. Sharptooth’s been replaced with Queen Chrysalis, the volcano has become Cantorlot, and The Great Valley is Ponyville. It did take a whole while to make this look good with lots of layers throw in. But, I’d say I paid it off.

Backgrounds and characters originally done in pencil. All colored, inked, and edited in Photoshop.

Hmmm….I might take a wild guess that Twilight is Littlefoot, and Spike as Ducky maybe…Rainbow Dash as Cera for her tomboy attitude….The rest I am kind of stumped. XD

Honestly this is pretty good. Could use some work around the faces, and maybe a ruler for the buildings, but this is a nice crossover from TLBT.

It’s bright and colorful, lots of detail, and Chrysalis looks pretty great!

Great job!
