“Twilight, I’m pretty sure you don’t need a third serving of lunch.” Spike complained as he walked beside his much larger friend. “I mean, have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately?”

Twilight stopped for a moment, turning back towards her reflection in the school’s trophy case. After a good look at her plumped-up body and a pat on her massive belly, she sighed worriedly at first before her mind switched back to hunger-mode. She simply shrugged it off. “Oh, I’m sure it’ll be fine once we get back through the portal.”

“If you can even fit though the portal,” Spike grumbled to himself.

“What was that?” Twilight raised an eyebrow.

“Oh! Uh,” Spike stammered nervously, “If you… think this is such a big deal, then wouldn’t it be easier to do research from your castle?”

“Spike, I’ve already told you. It’s never going to be enough to simply research this world. This is a place that very few ponies have seen. It is important to gain a true experience of the culture that this world has to offer… Now, come on. It’s Taco Tuesday!” Twilight began to waddle off as fast as her chubby legs could carry her.

Spike rolled his eyes as he followed. “Alright, but an experience isn’t the only thing you’re gaining.”
