I address that “creepy” party and pointed out it wasn’t yandere, it was just how the panel of her at the door came off but wasn’t connected to how she was acting to Spike.  
I also pointed out how it’s Trixie acing more yandere, as Ember isn’t acting crazy but she is, and that is the key to yandere, being crazy.  
The “sweet” part is in both actully, it’s what the “dere” refers to.  
Key thing to note, are they acting crazy(likely treating to other after their love) and obsessed with the one they love, or are they getting upset at the one they love or when the idea they like that person come up?  
Ember is not acting crazy about Spike so not yandere.

The yandere comes from the other two comic panals that are a continuation of this one. she like goes from creepy and wanting him super hard Yandere style to super cute Tsundere.

Because she’s been purely tsundere in this comic.

I’m used to character’s doing complete 180s in the Yandere/Tsundere jokes but i’m not used to them doing 360 spins in both directions like its Call of Duty..

Nothing like a nice tail hug, pity Spike’s probably too concussed to enjoy it right now.

There was no transition, it’s Trixie that was acting yandere and Ember was always acting tsundere, but the slight creepiness of her look when answering the door two strips back seems to of been mistaken for it.
