An outline or two may be a little wonky, sure, and its likely not that easy a pose considering how short and thick their legs are so there may be some intersecting mass but it’s all there as far as the “skeleton” goes.
@A Racist Zebra
Maybe it’s just me, but I can’t help but notice my progress. I focus hard on improving myself and constantly think of things I can improve or change. I get criticism from my friends to help with that. I don’t want to go into too much depth with this, but I know I’ve been holding myself back. I was always afraid to try new things and to keep everything the same but I’ve been trying very hard to change that, and I think I’ve done a great job so far.
@marsminer
That’s the problem, you’ve been doing the same thing for years. I’m sorry but the biggest difference between current marsminer and marsminer from 2 years ago is the way you do outlines. I feel you’re holding yourself back, there’s no reason you shouldn’t have come way further in the span of 2 years.
Note that I wouldn’t say this if I didn’t care.
@Coinpo
I did use them, and I know the arms are messed up. Thing is, this is a 20 minute sketch so the anatomy was kinda rushed. Sorry for reacting like this, but it felt so insulting to be told to try something I’ve been doing for years. I like criticism, but your “lol, those arms” didn’t feel very constructive.
@marsminer
I was just trying to help you, man. And if it’s “the most basic concept” why didn’t you use them? I didn’t mean to be rude at all, I have no idea why you’re reacting like this. Giving an artist constructive criticism is the best thing you can do to an artist. Feel free to give me pointers on my art as well, man.
@Coinpo
Except planning out anatomy with lines and shapes is the most basic concept. I don’t need you telling me how to improve my art. I think focusing on improving yourself would be beneficial.
@marsminer
If you don’t want tips or criticism why post your art online???? Besides without tips and criticism how will you ever improve your art? I think my tip was quite nessesary as you would have benefitted from it.
Oh shit. I see it now. The side of the face kind of made it look like the curve of a hoof.
