I don’t know about Cherry Jubilee, but Aunt Orange could see her as Babs Seed’s mother–there were a couple of BG shots for manehatten where it showed Babs with Aunt Orange.

That’s what I’m talking about. Yes we could consider this ‘proof’ in a way, but… again… if this was a… Mother/Daughter event, or we had something that STRONGLY suggests it, then I will be ok with that. The problem most face is that the ones that seem to be irked by their headcanon’s being challenged are how they REACT to it. We can have a perfectly civil discussion about it, but as soon as one of those people that overeact to stuff has someone that doesn’t disagree with them? They want to shove ‘evidence’ in your face. The problem with said ‘evidence’ is that it’s not CONCRETE. Just… strongly implies. Which is fine! You can have your own idea of what is going on. Just don’t expect everyone to accept it and respect that THEY HAVE AN OPINION as well.

Not really, though we have seen Dinky alongside Derpy in a couple episodes.
 
Likewise, Ruby Pinch was seen alongside Berry Punch a few times.

Now I’m not saying this to deny any of your points, they make perfect sense. It’s just… sad, you know? That poor girl’s home life must suck a lot.

The funny thing is that the show has given Derpy a concrete connection to a foal. She helped a colt dubbed Crackle Pop in the cart racing episode, and he’s a pegasus with a striking resemblance to her:
 

 
In that episode we also saw Snips being helped by what must have been his father, and another pair that looked like a mother/daughter team. You can reasonably argue based on this that Crackle Pop is actually her child.
 
Plus if I remember correctly Dinky always tends to be shown alongside a unicorn stallion and a mare with roughly matching coat colours, so it kind of implies that those are Dinky’s parents. Can’t for the life of me remember what either of them are called, though.

Yeah… I don’t mind headcanon’s at all, but ya GOT to think about those things with a sense of ‘This hasn’t been explicitly stated yet. Like ‘Oh this is my Daughter Dinky Hooves’ even if you see them around each other all the time. Then they will give you a 20 page essay on why their headcanon HAS to be right…

Oh right, forgot about Dinky. People get super defensive of their headcanons. I’m not sure about Orange, I don’t think she had a kid of her own during the flashback.

Well… not sure about Cherry, but some Fandom Canon paints Dinky Hooves as Derpy’s Daughter… I think. What about Aunt Orange? It’s been awhile, but did she have a child when Applejack came to see them for awhile?
