A bit, but Cuddlhu was the one offering herself in her original image; there’s no “misconception” to be had there. If it was the other way around, with her wanting cuddles and the human wanting sex, then it would be the same… The way it is, it’s not quite “the opposite”, but it’s definitely not the same.

Now imagine that, in the context of a character who ponies think is going to rape them, when really it just wants to cuddle, maybe some pillow talk? Those sorts of things… In fact, I almost imagine an image where he’s spooning the creature, non-sexually of course, and it’s crying due to a flood of emotions coming out all at once.

Yeah Twi swapped bodies with those kind of tentacles to try and teach them that doing that kind of thing is wrong. My excuse for the swapped cutie mark is it’s a more advanced version of her spell from Magical Mystery Cure that swaps their minds entirely instead of just their personalities.
 
Yeah it’s short-sighted, needlessly complicated, insane, heinous, very likely to fail, and much less fool-proof than about a dozen or so other more easily accomplished plans, but so was brainwashing the CMC to not be late on a homework assignment, turning her friend into a vampire to clear out pests, turning everyone into breezies instead of just putting the little stereotypes in a bucket and carrying them to their destination…

Hape Ghosts are special in that regard, different from regular visible ghosts. They’re unique in that they’re very warm :D

Nope, that one’s a garden variety ghost, that’s easy to see but can’t easily interact with the physical world. Hape Ghosts are the polar opposite: they can easily touch and interact with things, but you need extensive training (or you can cheat) to see them.

This one is. All ghosts are bound to the living world by something, and for Hape Ghosts it’s either loneliness or affection (or both).
 
Of course, the trouble with them, is unlike other ghosts that are bound by physical things or unfinished business (which keeps them at a location), these ones are bound to emotions and can take a liking to others and follow them…

Am I the only one that looked at the ghost’s shadow and thought “Sonata Dusk”?
 
(Probably. It’s just the hair/mane).
