She is very venomous, but wouldn’t hurt a fly. Her venom and aposematism has been a double-edged sword for her: she’s a gentle marshmallow rope because she’s never had to actually fight anything, but on the flip-side it also scares away potential friends too.

She’s not so bad to vector, but she’s definitely up there. So far the most time consuming to make were this one for all the detail in the legs, and this one because the transparency effect makes it weird to use layers to put things in front or behind, so I have to sort of cheat it. It’s hard for me to explain.

Technically speaking she’s not a constrictor, but as far as I’m concerned lamias are 100% synonymous with constriction. It actually works out in her favor; having less squeezing power than a constrictor means she’s less likely to accidentally harm whoever she’s hugging.

Originally she was based on a garter snake instead, so she actually was harmless, but I didn’t like the color scheme. See for yourself:  
 
I just didn’t bother to change the “I’m a harmless snake” line because *shrugs*. Besides, in hindsight I like the idea of her actually being quite venomous but still harmless just because of her nature.

Possible. Though, personally, I like the thought of her still being super poisonous and needing to be all careful not to hurt those she’s cuddling with. I don’t know why, I just find that idea to be cuter somehow.  
Though perhaps Badumsquish has a set canon on if she’s still all poisonous or not~

Constrictors aren’t usually venomous, or at least not significantly so.

I love your pieces with her. I’d imagine she’s one of the most difficult to vector, given her length, of course. It makes it all the more simple to appreciate!
