Starlight is such a great friend to have isn’t she.

Okay seriously am I the only one considers spike lucky to have Twilight and the others as his family I mean think about it if he was raised by dragons he would just be like every other dragon instead of being the kindhearted and loving little dragon he is now and every time Spike and his friends are together its always nice to see all of them spending together in fact I would love to see an episode where spike wants to spend time with them like maybe a slumber party or something and When I say slumber party I mean one that Spike wants to have I mean it would just be nice for spike and his friends to take a break from friendship lessons and have them all spending time with their favorite little dragon.

Why is there “Friendship is magic(episode)” tag?

He never show any interest in Starlight beside Rarity.I think he see Starlight like another big sister that he very close to like Twilight.

In my opinion, he should be a teenager by now. Spike was born when Twilight was a filly, meaning he’s just a few years younger than her. You should also not be bothered by the age thing, if people think it’s ok for a pegasus to be in a relationship with a 1000 year old Draconequus, I don’t see why a dragon can’t be in a relationship with a mare who’s just a few years older than him.

I think the reason Spike is close to Starlight because she grew up alone without friends and Spike understand that because his greatest fear is being alone without Twilight and the others.Also i notice with something bothers her she feel comfortable talking to Spike about it.
